Sports
Every game in your playlist, on one schedule.
Streamr finds the sports channels and dated event feeds in your playlist and turns them into a Live & Upcoming schedule, alongside sports channels and replays on demand, filterable by sport. Empty “no event” placeholder channels are hidden for you.
How does Streamr find sports in my playlist?
It reads category and channel names. Leagues, competitions and sports networks such as EPL, NBA, UFC, F1, beIN or DAZN mark a channel as sports, and event channels with a date and time in their name become entries on the schedule.
What’s in the Sports section?
Three things, in one place:
- Live & Upcoming: events built from your event channels, with start times
- Sports channels: the 24/7 sports networks in your playlist
- Sports On Demand: replays and highlights from your provider
- A filter chip for each sport, so one tap shows only football, basketball or motorsport
What happens to “NO EVENT STREAMING” channels?
They’re hidden. Many providers keep dozens of empty event channels that only carry a stream around game time. Streamr leaves them out of Sports, Live TV and search until there’s something on, so you see real events instead of placeholders.
Can I hide pay-per-view events?
Yes. One switch in content filters hides every pay-per-view channel and category, and turning it back on restores them.
Do live games show up on the home screen?
Yes. For You has a Live sports row, so games that are on right now are one click away when you open Streamr.
Streamr doesn’t include channels. It’s a player for the Xtream Codes or M3U playlist you get from your TV provider. It doesn’t sell or provide channels, movies, series or playlists.
