Movies & Series
Your provider’s movies and series, with the posters they deserve.
Streamr gives the movies and series in your playlist a full streaming-app experience: detail pages with backdrop, plot, cast, runtime and trailer, seasons and episodes, resume on any title, and autoplay of the next episode.
What’s on a movie or series page?
A full-width backdrop with the title, year, genre, runtime and rating, the plot and cast, and buttons to play or resume, watch the trailer, or add it to My List. Series pages list every season and episode.
How do I find something to watch?
Movies and Series each have category chips, sort options and search. For You adds rows for new and top-rated titles, and Continue Watching picks up exactly where you stopped.
- Category chips from your provider’s catalog
- Sort options and search
- Continue Watching on For You
- Favorites in My List
Does Streamr remember where I stopped?
Yes. Every movie and episode resumes where you left off, and when an episode ends the next one starts automatically. You can turn either off in Settings › Playback.
Do I need Xtream Codes for posters and plots?
For the richest pages, yes. An Xtream Codes login gives Streamr posters, plots, cast and season lists from the provider’s catalog. Plain M3U playlists carry less information, so pages show what the playlist includes. If your M3U link is an Xtream-style get.php link, Streamr offers to switch to the Xtream API for you — see adding an M3U playlist.
Do favorites follow me to my other Macs?
Yes. When you’re signed in, favorite movies and series sync across your devices along with your channel lists.
Streamr doesn’t include channels. It’s a player for the Xtream Codes or M3U playlist you get from your TV provider. It doesn’t sell or provide channels, movies, series or playlists.
